Hey there! I'm Vera Wei, a multidisciplinary designer, developer, and tinkerer based in Pittsburgh, PA.
As I strongly believe in the power of people-centric design, my problem-solving approach focuses on empathy: mining and understanding latent needs and emotions in the people I design for.
I previously studied computer science, psychology, and graphic design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and am currently pursuing a Master of Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science. I hope to leverage the synergy of my multidisciplinary background to tackle thorny problems from different perspectives.
Beyond my studies and work, I like to sing (I never say no to karaoke), act (I'm currently in an improv group called "Stalls without Walls"), and travel (my bucket list never ceases to grow).
